1. HOW MUCH FILLING WILL I NEED?

Measure the length, width and height of your beanbag skin. Then multiply the dimensions as per the examples below:

Imperial Measurements (inches['']):

length x width x height = cubic volume
36“ x 36” x 12” = 15,552 cubic inches
15,552 cubic inches divided by 1,728 cubic inches (1728 = no. of cubic inches in a cubic foot) = 9 cubic feet.

Metric Measurements (centimetres[cm]):

length x width x height = cubic volume
90cm x 90cm x 30cm = 243,000 cubic cm
243,000 cubic cm divided by 1,000 cubic cm (1,000 cubic cm = 1 cubic litre) = 243 cubic litres.

You will require one 10 cubic foot bag

5 cubic feet = 142 litres
10 cubic feet = 284 litres

As a rough guide:

Our 5 cubic feet bag is ideal for topping up a current bean bag or filling a small/medium beanbag.

Our 10 cubic feet bag is ideal for filling a medium/large beanbag.

3. WHAT DISCOUNT DO YOU OFFER FOR BULK BUYING?

Please contact us directly to discuss large volume discounts.

4. WHAT ARE YOUR DELIVERY TERMS?

WE PROVIDE DELIVERY to the UK Mainland from Monday to Friday.

Due to the fact that we are manufacturers this product is always in stock and ready to despatch.

Orders will normally be despatched within two working days of receipt via a 48 hour courier service, so you can expect your new beanbag filling to be with you within four working days.

DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS: In the unlikely event that your goods arrive damaged, DO NOT ACCEPT DELIVERY the goods will be returned to us where a replacement can be despatched or a refund issued. If the goods are accepted damaged, no replacement or refund will be issued. Also ensure that someone is available at the given delivery address to sign for the goods. Please be clear on these points before ordering.

Please note that the delivery cost is to MAINLAND UK ONLY (excluding Scottish Highlands & Islands).

The following exceptions will incur a 60% delivery surcharge:

Zone 1 - Standard delivery charge
England, Wales and parts of Scotland, excluding Highlands and Islands. The zone is made up of all postcodes not mentioned in zones 2 and 3.

Zone 2 - Standard delivery charge + 60% surcharge
The Highlands and Islands of Scotland - postcodes HS, IV, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, ZE.

Zone 3 - Standard delivery charge + 60% surcharge
Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Isles of Scilly - postcodes BT, IM, TR21-25.

5. WHY IS THE DELIVERY COST SO EXPENSIVE?

It’s not. It’s just that our beanbag filling is very, very cheap. This makes the delivery cost seem expensive. Just wait until your large beanbag filling turns up and then judge for yourself... Alternatively you can collect your beanbag filling directly from us and save the delivery charge. Please view the “CAN I COLLECT?” section below.

6. CAN I COLLECT?

Yes, it’s not a problem to collect. All our details including a printable map can be found on our contact us section of this website. Please note that collections are only possible during normal working hours:

Monday-Thursday: 08:00-17:00
Friday: 08:00-15:30
Saturday & Sunday: Closed

7. HOW CAN I AMEND MY ORDER?

8. IS YOUR BEAD FIRE RETARDANT?

Yes, all our polystyrene is manufactured with a Flame Retardant additive and tested to BS476 part 12: 1991 (click here to download a PDF - 1.9MB).

9. HOW CAN I PAY?

We accept all major credit cards, cheques and cash payments. For our regular volume customers we can offer a credit account subject to our standard terms of trade (a minimum six month regular trading history is required before a credit account can be opened).
