We love an unusual project at Custompac, so when Roddy the archaeologist walked through our doors, with his stone age axe heads, our eyes lit up!

Roddy searches for Neolithic period axes in particular, scouring fields for these priceless artefacts.

Unfortunately, axes are getting harder to find. Many are broken when fields are ploughed and crops gathered, which makes discoveries like this even more exciting!


Roddy kindly sent us a photograph of some of his finds, safe and sound on his new Custompac foam.

The green axe is from Lincolnshire, which apparently has a rich history of human settlement.
