It's the time of year where we curl up on the sofa and get cosy with any furry friends, while the dismal weather persists outdoors.

Not every person, (or animal), is as fortunate though.... and one kind customer got in touch, about an abandoned cat, who had befriended her.

Heather became worried about homeless, black feline, (dubbed ' Pusscat') when this cold snap set in. Recent weeks have seen snow, ice and temperatures plummeting to as low as -7°C.

Pusscat had already been sheltering in a hutch outside, but Heather wanted to insulate this, in a bid to keep the cold out.

Happy to help, we posted out one of our 54L polystyrene HoCo boxes to Heather, who then lined the box with extra foil insulation and popped some straw bedding down.

Heather kindly sent the above photos of her project and promised to keep us updated on how Pusscat fares over the winter.
